I just recently installed a system that is pushing 800W RMS to 2 12" subs. I have a 2 farad capacitor installed in between the battery and amp but I noticed that my headlights are still dimming. I feel that a 2 farad cap is more than enough. Someone told me I might need a new alternator but I’m pretty new to the car audio scene so I don’t know exactly what’s wrong. Any suggestions?
right now i have 2 pioneer subs 400 watts rms each sub and 1000 watts max each sub.right now i have the kenwood KAC-7202 amp rated at 460 watts rms bridged. should i get the MTX 6500d amp. and if so will it run both subs or just one and will it blow my subs
Whats the best 6×9 car audio Speaker that can provide the MOST bass? The reson I ask bc I notice that a 2005 volvo has stock speakers that even out perform the ones that I bout that were supposed to be good.
im unpgrading my car audio system and its going to be pretty loud with two amps at about 1000 watss rms. and i have 10000k HID headlights. I planned on upgrading the big three and getting a yellow top battery. what amperage do i need my upgraded alternator need to be? and where can i get one of quality and at a cheap price.
Hello, I am getting a car audio system, will run about 1750-2000 watts RMS at 4 OHMS. It is composed of 2 amplifiers. I was wondering what kind of alternator I would need to upgrade to (how many amps?) Also would it make a difference to get a deep cycle battery, and if so could you recommend one? I am new to car audio and dont understand too much! Thanks, all answers appreciated. |
