Does anyone know why klipch is not into car audio? |
it seams to me they stand to make a killing in the industry. they have a name that most people reconize and in the world of SPL drags i think they would be right at home. thier professional series stuff has sensitivities of 105db. they have long been the authoritive speaker maker with the "in your face" style; would this not fit the car audio world of today perfectly? there are so many people looking for the loudest and the hardest hitting, it stands to reason to me that klipch if they choose to could come in and very respectfully take a large market share, so why haven’t they?
not sure i would like thier mid-highs in a car, maybe a bit too harsh and too directional (horns?), but i’d love to see some subs / and midbass by them.
interesting facts about thier history and reasoning for not entering car audio, and i see the point about where car audio is heading, its becoming cool to have quantity without the quality, and that really is not the klipch buisness model..
Thanks Haro_bikes… for the extra effort.. I think it’s a crock that they dont want to expand though, i mena they make pc speakers…. and did very well..
Klipch makes inwall speakers…how much different is a car speaker really? I think they just dont know how to fit that horn in a car…
