Incar Audio Systems

I’m looking to install a great car audio system in my new car. I want some sub woofers (preferably two 10") and good overall speakers. I don’t want to spend too much money. What would be the best setup?

By exhaustive I mean very descriptive and details. Something I can start reading as a complete know-nothing and end up with a good idea on how to acquire great car audio for my vehicle.
