Incar Audio Systems

My car audio player has an interrupt feature that switches off the audio when a call is coming in. Does any one know of a way to make a device that sends a ground (-) signal to the cd player when a call comes in. I could use bluetooth or any other ideas that work with my cingular 2125 smart phone.

Im not putting a powerful system in my car, but if i put in aftermarket speakers, do i need to put in anything else? Im just buying ones to replace the ones i have no box in the trunks or anything, but half of em dont work. Or do i even need to go aftermarket, could i go to a dealler and have them install?
If i buy aftermarket speakers, do i need to get anything else? A guy in a store told me i had to buy a amp or i’d burn up the speakers, or the cd player. Yes no

allright i dont know very much about cars or audio cause i had no reason to be. but now that i have my license and a car, i want to put a audio system in it that will make it seem like i have king kong in my trunk. i want the bass to be able to make your heart drop. so i need to know what to buy, where it goes in the car(like what goes on the doors, trunk, backseat, etc.), and whatever else i need to achieve what i want. oh and how expensive will it be?

by the way, i have a ‘96 maxima if that has anything to do with it.
oh and will i need a different radio/cd player on the dashboard? eventually i wanna get a touch screen that controls everything but not now. i wanna focus on the sound system first.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P310UB car audio unit (cd player). It doesn’t always turn on when the car is started, and if it does when I start using the buttons, it just shuts off and becomes un-useable. How do I fix this?

I have an older car (93 maxima) and the original owner put some audio equipment in it himself during the early 90’s.

It’s speakers work well enough to my standards, so I don’t want to replace them.

Inside my car I have a cassette player head unit that never worked well at all, and in the trunk I have a 6 CD changer that works decently as far as I know. I have a friend who unhooked entire system for reasons that equate a long story about my moving across country - let’s not go there.

How do I ask for what I am looking for without getting upsold? I’d like to keep the 6 CD changer and just get another head unit. Can I get that and have it installed and hooked up to my old equipment? Should I get another cassette player head unit? or a CD player? It doesn’t matter to me as long as it’s cheap, plays MP3’s and I can use the 6 disc CD changer I have in my trunk.

Help me from getting scammed.

Also, how much would you estimate total costs?
